My 5 yr old daughter put some apple seeds in a cup with a wet paper towel. one of the seeds are growing with little leaves. What do I do with it now?
Answer
Put potting soil in a styrofoam cup about 3/4 full. Gently place the sprout in the soil making sure you do not break off the root (sprout). Keep the soil moist but not wet until the plant out grows the cup about eight inches tall, then transplant out side. Keep the cup near a window so it will get light.
